Twitter users are revolting after a "male prostitute" was referred to by the media as a "sex consultant".

The man, who charges women £1,000 per night to have sex with them and £13,500 for a two-week holiday, granted The Times an interview where he proudly spoke about his work. When the interview was shared online, some men wondered how they too could get to have such a job.

But Twitter users have pointed out the double standards and mentioned that when women are involved in transactional sex they are called prostitutes whereas they dignify the men by referring to them as sex consultants.
Reacting, @miss_andisa wrote: "Sex worker. He’s a sex worker, but you know, because he’s not a woman, they find nice terminology for it. Had it been a woman, they’d have used the most derogatory word and shamed the hell out of her. “Sex consultant”. LMAO, ? rha amadoda."
