I am as overjoyed as their Royal Highnesses, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex but I must not fail to express my view that I have the exact distaste for this announcement as I had for the “Mama Na Boy” TV commercial produced by MTN Nigeria Limited in 2003 which was downright sexist.
When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their baby, it was proudly announced to be a boy.
A statement from the Palace further shared that the baby was delivered at 5:26 a.m. at 7 pounds, 3 ounces.
“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news,” the statement read.
The Royal baby has not been given a name yet and his pictures have not been taken or made public.
