Prince Louis, 1, has made his Buckingham Palace balcony debut and the young royal looked excited as he and his siblings waved at the flypast.

Prince Louis joined the rest of the royal family as they made their traditional appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony after Trooping of the Colour.

The Trooping of the Colour ceremony celebrates the Queen's official birthday and features a military parade. The ceremony included a fly-past of RAF aircraft, from historic planes to modern jets. Afterwards, the national anthem was played and Louis , who was held in his father, Prince William's arms, joined the crowds in clapping after it ended. His older brother and sister, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were also present.

He went on to wave at the crowd and as his father carried him inside, he continued waving until he was out of sight.

New mum, Meghan Markle was also present. It was her first public appearance since giving birth.
